THE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY OF LONDON, Banksian medal, instituted in 1820, in silver (38mm) by W.Wyon (Eimer 1138, BHM.1041), inscribed on the reverse 'Mr Patk. Flanagan/for/melons/and a/pineapple/Exhibited July 16th/1882'; another, but 'for Grapes, Exhibited July 18/1837'; another'To/Mr.F.J.Buck/for/Crassulas/Exhibited July 11.1837'. The first from the first obverse die, Sir commences at back of neck, the others commence under the neck, toned, extremely fine - nearly uncirculated. (3)
