FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), AE as, (8.24 g), issued after 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA AVG FAVSTINA, rev. Aeternitas seated to left holding phoenix on globe and sceptre, around AETERNITAS, S C in exergue, (cf.S.4638, cf.RIC 1156a, cf.C. 160). Good very fine, unpublished obverse, extremely rare variety, with collector tickets.
