M. CIPIUS, silver denarius, (c.115-114 B.C.), (3.95 g), Rome mint, obv. head of Roma right, helmeted, [M].CIPI.M.F. before X behind, rev. Victory in biga to right, rudder below horses [RO]MA in exerque, (S.166, Cr. 289/1, Syd. 546, BMC Italy 522, B. Cipia 1). Toned, off centred obverse, very fine.
