CAPPADOCIA, Kingdom of Ariobarzanes I, Philoromaios, (95-63 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.15 g), year 29 = 67 B.C., obv. head of Ariobarzanes I to right, wearing diadem, rev. Athena standing to left with left hand supporting spear and shield, and right hand outstretched supporting Nike left, holding wreath. **BASILEWS* on right, APIOBAPZAN[OY] on left, **FIL*OPOMAI[OY] below, to left MP monogram, date **[QK]* in exergue, (S.7302, BMC 18, Simonetta 40a). Lightly toned, good very fine.
