PELOPONNESOS, Sikyonia, Sikyon, (issued late 330's B.C.), silver stater, (12.11 g), obv. Chimaera walking to left, **SE* below, wreath above, rev. dove flying to right, A behind, **Q* in left field near wing all within olive wreath, (cf.S.2763, BCD 215 [LHS 96, p.70], BMC 106 variety, McClean 6250). Lightly toned, minor flan flaw before dove, otherwise nearly extremely fine and a very rare variety.

Ex Noble Numismatics privately and previously from CNG Auction Sale 61 (lot 614).
The BCD example in similar condition cited above realised 2400 SFr. + 15%.
