JUSTIN II, (A.D. 565-578), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, (1.36 g), obv. Justin II bust to right, with diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, around dN IVSTI NVS PP AVI, rev. Victory advancing to right holding wreath and cross on globe, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVII, in exergue CONOB, (S.353, DOC 14, R.765, BMC 21-25). Bent and straightened, otherwise nearly very fine.
