GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), gold aureus, issued August - October 68, Rome mint, (7.14 g), obv. bare head to right of Galba, around IMP SER GALBA AVG, rev. S P Q R / OB C S, in two lines within oak wreath, (S.2093, BMC 29 cor., RIC 164, C.286, Calico 509). Weak in places, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
