GULF OF CARPENTARIA, Normanton, five pounds, No.A 411, issued by Burns, Philp, imprint of Charles Troedel & Co. Sydney and Melbourne, impressed oval Queensland one penny duty stamp, signed James Burns, per James Forsyth, undated, issued circa 1880, only a small number of notes issued. Very rare only a few issued notes known of all denominations. Several heavy folds and two small central holes otherwise very good - fine and unique.
