AUSTRALIA, Convict's Ticket-of-Leave, 185-, unissued; The Colonial Bank of Australasia, Birregurra, cheque no. 567, Oct 7th 1889, drawn by Ge (George) Thurrowgood for ten pounds eight shillings, payable to Isaac Bros, bank's vignette at side margin, printed by Sands & McDougall Limited, stamped in red, 'PAID', impressed One Penny Victoria Stamp Duty. The first with age toning along top edge and light crinkling, otherwise virtually uncirculated, the second with spike hole and small spot of foxing, very fine. (2)

Isaac Bros were colonial produce merchants in the small Victorian town of Birregurra.
