Arthur Henry Hill, labourer, age 19, born at Richmond, Vic; Enl.16Feb1915 at Melbourne, Vic while still serving in 56 Regt of Citizen Forces; Emb.08May1915; o2May1916 convicted of disobeying a lawful command and sent to prison for 12 months with hard labour - commuted to 60 days; 13Aug1916 sentenced to 10 days for failing to answer Tattoo Roll Call; KIA 25Aug1916 France; commemorated at Villers-Bretonneux Memorial.
