L. VOLTEIUS L.F. Strabo, (81 B.C.), silver serrated denarius, Rome mint, (3.56 g), obv. large laureate head of Jupiter to right, A behind, rev. Europa seated on bull galloping to left, holding veil which floats over her head, thunderbolt behind, vine-leaf below, (S.298, Cr.377/1, Syd.743, RSC.Volteia 6). Very fine, with surface scratches, very rare.
