IONIA, Erythrae, (c.387-300 B.C.), AE 24, (9.29 g), obv. head of young Herakles to right in lion skin, rev. below EPY, club and bow case, magistrate name **KOURIDIWS*, (cf.S.4435, BMC Ionia -, SNG von Aulock -; SNG Kayhan -). Dark tone, very fine and very rare.

Ex Clive Shute Collection and from Charles Seltman in 1923 with old Seaby ticket.
