ITALY, Bruttium, Petelia, (280-216 B.C.), AE 20, (5.89 g), obv. veiled head of Demeter to right, wreathed with barley, dotted border, rev. naked Zeus facing striding to left, hurling thunderbolt and holding sceptre, in two lines **[P]ETH LINWN*, (S.678, cf.SNG Cop. 1907, SNG Munich 1548). Attractive dark green patina, very fine/fine and very scarce.
