(HOSIE, J.), the Original Scotch Pie Shop, Melbourne halfpenny checks, countermarked with values, 3 (pence); 6 (pence); 9D; plain (one shilling?); 1/3; 1/6; undated (A.272; R.272-6), complete except for 1/9. The finest set known, all rare to very rare, the first extremely rare, good fine - good extremely fine. (6)

The second and third ex G.C.Heyde Collection (lot 409 part), the third possibly Heyde (lot 408 part); the fourth and fifth ex Strathburn Collection (lots 2720, 2721) earlier ex Stern Sale 1977 (Heyde) and Spink Australia Sale 8 (lot 266) respectively.
