BOEOTIA, Thebes, (378-338 B.C.), silver stater, (12.168 grams), obv. Boeotian shield, rev. amphora, with letters **KL IW[N]* either side, (cf.S.2398, Hepworth Series C, No.71, BMC 156, McClean 5606-7, Weber 3281). Nearly extremely fine and a scarce type.
