ROMAN MEDALS, a small collection of medals (12) representing the 12 Caesars, each 28mm, produced c.1780, housed in a velvet lined tray, manufacturers details are unknown, obv. head of each named emperor, rev. personal details; dates of life and rule, comprising Julius Caesar, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero, Galba, Otho, Vitellius, Vespasian, Titus and Domitian. Very fine - extremely fine set. (12)
