HOLEY DOLLAR AND DUMP CENTENARY, 1913, trial striking on copper 'cartwheel' twopence, 1797, designed by Alfred Chitty, struck by Stokes & Sons (C.T/12). Extremely fine and unique.
May well have been Alfred Chitty's keepsake. Ex I.S.Wright postal bid sale 190 (23/1/2011) (lot 1215).
