LIDCOMBE TRIBUTE MEDAL, WWI, in silver (38mm) by Fames, obverse, Victory holding a wreath above a Gallipoli landing scene at dawn, reverse, unfurled scroll on which is engraved, 'A Tribute/from the Citizens/of LIDCOMBE/on his return/from/Active Service', around the edge, 'He Heard His Country's Call', engraved on rim, 'Pte. Rook'. Dark tone, otherwise very fine.

Note: The format of engraving on the reverse of this medal is slightly different in layout than on the few other medals sighted.
