SPES REI PVBLICE around, in exergue R P; Spes standing to front looking to l., with two children in her arms, Rome mint (RIC 271); Alexandria mint (RIC 39); another uncertain mint obverse brockage; Maxentius, (306-312 A.D.), AE half follis, issued c.310 A.D., Rome Mint, 2.67 grams, RIC 235, cf.Sear 3784, obv. Around MAXENTIVS P F AVG, cuirassed bust of Maxentius to l., wearing helmet, r. hand holding spear over r. shoulder and l. hand holds shield, rev.
