AEMILIAN, (253 A.D.), silver antoninianus, issued 253 A.D., Rome Mint, 3.70 grams, RIC 4, C.16, Obv. Radiate bust to r. of Aemilian, draped and cuirassed, around IMP AEMILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, Rev. IOVI CONSERVAT around, Jupiter standing to l. extending r. hand, with hanging cloak, over Aemilian, holding thunderbolt and sceptre. Toned, extremely fine and rare, (464).
