I V N O around, Juno, veiled standing to front with head to l., holding patera and sceptre; to l., a peacock standing to l.; another issued 177-192 A.D., Rome Mint, 2.74 g, RIC 286a, BMC 44, C.35, Obv. Bust to r. of Crispina, around CRISPINA AVGVSTA, Rev. V E N V S around, Venus standing to front with head to l., holding apple and drawing up fold of drapery on l. shoulder., reverse off centre. Very fine or better, both scarce, (259-260). (2)
