COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA, World War II, war savings certificate (blue issue), five pounds, issued 29 Sep 1942, H 017350, stamped by Union Bank of Australia, George St, Sydney; Registered Letter with George VI 5 1/2 pence embossed stamp and affixed 3 pence brown, unused; penny red kangaroo stamps (strip of 3) unused but all with foxing. The first with vertical centre fold otherwise nearly extremely fine, the rest fine - good very fine. (2 + strip of 3)
