UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, Printer's Proof, ten pounds, issued at Brisbane dated 1st March 187 , in pencil below in Managers signature area Jan 6, 1871, not signed, printed on unwatermarked paper, with imprint on centre of bottom, 'Perkins Bacon & Petch, London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate', with vignettes of Queen Victoria to left, and Britannia Kangaroo and ship as central vignette, black on white, (Vort-Ronald, p.223-230 on bank, P.257 Banknote Pedigrees [This Note]). Minor aging tone, otherwise nearly uncirculated and very rare.
