THE NATIONAL BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, one pound printer's black and white uniface specimen on paper, Adelaide, 18.., SPECIMEN stamped in Manager signature reserve, 'March 4th 1859' annotated in pencil in bottom margin (MVR type 1). Nearly extremely fine and rare.

Ex Perkins Bacon Archive, Spink/Christie's Sale, Melbourne 23 May 1995 (lot 653, wrongly attributed to The London Chartered Bank of Australia).
