ITALY, Milan, Milano (Duchi), Filippo IV di Spagna, (Philip IV) (1621-1665), silver filippo, 43mm, (27.45 g), dated 1657, obv. bareheaded and cuirassed older bust right of Philip IV, wearing mustache and goatee beard, rev. crowned coat-of-arms within ornate frame, (cf.CNI V 131 (for type), cf. Crippa 14/A [same]). Toned, very fine and rare.
EX CNG Auction SAle 96 (lot 1175) and previously from the Archer M. Huntington Collection USA, (HSA 1001.1.26419).
