INDONESIA, Srivijaya Kingdom, (c.680-1250 A.D.), gold half tahil (tael) (17.29g), obv. Makara fish to left in plain field, rev. seal with central letter and around circular running script in Devanagari?, (Mitchiner [South East Asia] -). Good very fine, the largest known gold coin from Indonesia, unpublished and of extreme rarity.
