STIRLINGSHIRE, Hutchesontown (Glasgow), Forster and Corbett's, five shillings, Ferdinand VII Mexico City Mint eight reales, 1811HJ, countermarked in a ring 'Forster & Corbet/Hutchesontown', 5/- within two concentric circles (Manville 37a) (c1815-19). Even grey tone, good very fine and extremely rare, seven known.

Ex Nobleman (lot 690), V.M.Brand (Chicago, private sale), E.M.Norweb (lot 1639), W.J.Noble (lot 1622) and K.A.Hicks collections.
