Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74, (3.34 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, rev. Vespasian seated to right holding branch and sceptre, PON MAX TR P COS V around, (cf.S.2300, RIC 702, RSC 364). Lightly toned, well centred, very fine - good very fine and scarce.
