ELIZABETH II, proof two cents, 1967 with artwork, proof like FDC.

Being sold along with a trial artistic impression on card by Reginald George (James) Berry (1906- 1979), for the reverse of the decimal coinage two cent piece, introduced 10 July 1967. The reverse trial design features th Red Kowhai (Kaka Beak) blossoms. The final coinage design features the blossoms of the yellow Kowhai flower. Ex James Berry Collection and Wellington Coin Club Auction C. 1981.
