WATERLOO MEDAL 1815, with original suspension clip and ring. ** Thomas Darken . 2nd Batt. 95th Reg. Foot. **. Engraved. Worn and with heavy contact marks on edge, suspender repaired, otherwise very good.

Enlisted and recorded as Thomas Darkins but shown on medal roll as Thos Darken.

Thomas Darkins, blacksmith, age 19, born at Marlin, Norfolk, England; Enl.27Mar1813; served with 2/95th Regt, Rifle Brigade, 23rd and 63rd Regts including Waterloo, Portugal (18 months), New South Wales and Van Diemen's Land (5 years) and East Indies (1 year 299 days); Disch.31Dec1835.
