HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-8, (3.30 g), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, drapery on far shoulder around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around COS III, simpulum, sprinkler, jug and lituus across field, (S.3483, RIC 198, RSC 454). Nearly extremely fine and an interesting reverse.
