UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, black and white uniface printer's proof, on card, second issue, one pound, Geelong, 18.., imprint Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, stamped 'SPECIMEN' in Accountant signature reserve, with 'February 10th 1854' in pencil in lower margin (MVR 2a). Glue spots on back corners, otherwise extremely fine and very rare.
