SEVERUS ALEXANDER, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 226, Rome mint, (2.95 g), obv. laureate bust to right, draped, around IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, rev. PAX AVG, Pax running to left, holding olive-branch and sceptre, (S.7887, RIC 165, RSC 183). Good very fine.
