L. JULIUS L.F. Caesar, (c.103 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.51 g), obv. Mars helmeted head to left, CAESAR behind, rev. Venus Genetrix, in biga to left, lyre before, E above, L.IVLI.L.F. in exergue, (S.198, Cr.320/1, Syd.593). Short on flan, nearly very fine and scarce.
