C. CLAUDIUS PULCHER, (110-109 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.83 g), obv. Roma helmeted head to right, rev. Victory in biga to right, C.PVLCHER in exergue, (S.177, Cr.300/1, Syd.569, RSC Claudia 1). Toned, very fine.

The reverse relates to an ancestral victory over the Istrians and Ligurians in 177 B.C.
