NINETEENTH CENTURY MINTING CHECK, proving piece for A. & H. Fratelli Rubatto, Turin, in copper, obv. G&B monogram, 'Greenwood & Batley, Limited, Albion Works, Leeds' around, rev. crowned arms of Savoy in wreath, A. & H. Flli Rubatto Torino' around, edge plain, 26mm, (9.36gm), (Bullmore, SNC 1979, p.440, this size not noted; cf.DNW 63, 1037). Good very fine and extremely rare.
