S.F.F. Georgetown, (Scottish Filling Factory) 1/2d, 1d and 3d checks in brass (28mm) and (22mm) and cupro nickel, for the munitions factory, all have large S on reverse. For many years these were listed as British Guinea. Very fine (3).
Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Sale 61B (lot 1168) and previously the first ex R.G.Stewart Collection 1967.
