SURREY, Shoreham, private road pass for the bridge at Shoreham, in brass (34mm) obv. arms of the Earl of Surrey, pencilled on reverse "Duke/ Northumberland" (D&W _; M.G _, M.5925) Undated but circa 1790. Glossy extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Sale 61B (lot 1068) and purchased from Schwer in 1984.
