WALES, not local, countermarked issues etc, QV obverses with plain reverses; "W.L.H. Wheat Sheaf" QV125; "F.P./F" QV 125; "R. Atkin" QV120; plain QV121; "H*L" QV62; "R H" with masonic symbols compass and set square/three playing cards; QV 200 with reverse die L within inner circle, legend HONOR VIRTUTIS PRAEMIUM (a Manchester school reward for marks achieved); Victoria Dei Gratia 1872 obverse with two circles on reverse enclosing a circle of 8 stars. The last two holed, fair-extremely fine. (8)

Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Sale 61B (lot 299) and previously the second and third from Schwer in 1984, the others mostly acquired in London in 1970s.
