ROYAL HUMANE SOCIETY MEDAL, in bronze (38mm), with ribbon buckle bar, edge inscribed, 'Asst. Steward Daniel Clarence Smith. M.N. 23 Jany.1952'. Good extremely fine.

Together with RHS award certificate dated 13 May 1952. RHS case no.62379 - Assistant Steward Daniel Clarence Smith, Merchant Navy, for saving life from drowning at Georgetown, British Guiana on 23 January 1952.
