WORLD COINS, Ceylon, (Sri Lanka), base gold stater, (4.23 g), Restoration of the Singhalese Independence (A.D. 1070-1214), issue of Vijaya Bahu I (1055-1110), similar (M.831); together with an accumulation of British India copper from the Bombay Presidency c.1820s mostly date off flans, (5), Mysore AE 20 cash 1835 (M.1051); Ceylon assorted copper one stivers 1783, 1784, 1788, 1792 all Colombo mint (cf.M.2186-2189), quarter stiver undated (c.1783) (M.2190); Byzantine copper (4) and other coins and objects (5). Fair - very fine. (20)
