John Steell, age 32, labourer, born at Midlothian, Scotland; Enl.03Oct1914 at Rosehill, NSW; previous service with 15th King's Hussars and 8th Royal Irish Hussars; Emb.22Dec1914; 14Jul1916 charged - Drunk on Parade; Disch.04Apr1919 in London. Entitled to 1914-15 Star.

Louis Schutz Cumming, age 42, Produce Merchant, born at Aberdeen, Scotland in 1873, migrated to Burnie, Tasmania; married Ruth Agnes Hilder at Emu Bay 13Aug1895; worked in the firm of Cumming & Co, produce, seed and timber merchants and machinery agents; Enl.07Aug1916 at Claremont, Tasmania; previous service in Burnie Volunteers c1891; Emb.10Feb1917; 24Jun1917 qualified as 'Very Good' at Lewis Gun School; RTA 02Feb1918 arrived 26Mar1918 (via America at own expense); classified as Medically Unfit (over age and bronchitis); Disch.17May1918.
