GEORGE V, 1930, Indian die. Obverse rim bruises at 9.30 and 3 o'clock, cleaned of patina, orange red metal colour with toned high points, full centre diamond and eight clear pearls, nearly extremely fine/extremely fine and extremely rare in this condition, the third finest currency coin we have handled and as such of great importance.

Ex Spink Australia Sale 12, 4 April 1984 (lot 772) when it was bought for an important collection in Perth which was later sold en bloc in Sale 26 (lot 905) to Richard Williams (whose collection was sold in Sale 35) but with the exception of this 1930 penny.
