ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219, (3.74 g), obv. laureate and draped bust of Elagabalus to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around PM TR P II COS II P P, Sol standing left raising right hand, holding whip, (cf.S.7533, RIC 107, RSC 134). Old dark toning with attractive blue irridescence, good very fine or better.
