M. HERENNIUS, (108-107 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.60 g), obv. Piety head to right, behind PIETAS, rev. Catanaean running right bearing father on shoulders, M.HERENNI on left, control mark M. to right, (S.185, Cr.308/1b, Syd.567a, RSC Herennia 1a). Heavy scratches on the reverse, otherwise very fine.
