ANONYMOUS SERIES, (shortly after 211 B.C.), silver victoriatus, (3.48 g), uncertain mint (Croton), obv. laureate head of Jupiter to right, border of dots, rev. Victory to right, crowning trophy, in exergue ROMA, upwards CROT, dotted border, (S.51, Cr.92/1a, Syd. 120, RSC 36b). Good fine and very rare.

Ex Bruce R. Brace Collection. A similar example in the NAC Auction of the RBW collection very fine realised 475 SFr (lot 393).
