SYRIA, Chalcidice, Chalcis, Trajan, (A.D. 98-117), AE 25, (8.14 g), obv. laureate and draped bust of Trajan right, around **AUTOK R KAIC NER [TRAIANOC ARICT CE] GERM DAK PA RQ*, rev. **FL CAGKIDEWN* in two lines, **D* below, all within laurel wreath, (cf.S.1076, Butcher 4a). Attractive deep green patina, good very fine or better and rare.
