MACEDON, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.26 g), Amphipolis mint, issued under Kassander, c. 316-314 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man, on horseback to right, dolphin downwards below, to right dot below **P*, above **FILIP POU*, (cf.S.6683, cf.Le Rider Group [Pl.46, 19], Troxell Studies group 9, 331-2, SNG ANS 749). Lightly toned, extremely fine and a scarce symbol.
