RUSSIA, Military Ascension Cathedral Consecrated, 1905, in silver (77mm), obverse, conjoined heads of Alexander I and Nicholas II left, reverse, the cathedral building; another identical but in bronze. The first with several scratches, otherwise very fine, the second with heavy rim nicks, otherwise good very fine. (2)

Planning for the cathedral began in 1805 and it was consecrated in 1905.
