DSC: Second Supplement to LG 16/4/1918, p4643, 'in recognition of services in minesweeping operations between the 1st April and 31st December 1917.'

Entitled to French Croix de Guerre: Supplement to LG 17/5/1918, p5861, 'for distinguished services rendered during the war.'

Pte James Donald McClymont, sheep farmer, 2NZEF, KIA Italy 15Apr1944 and buried at Cassino War Cemetery, was the son of Lieut. David McClymont DSC, RNR and Jessie McClymont of Karori, Wellington, New Zealand.
